An estimated 7 million (11.4%) children aged 3–17 years have been diagnosed with ADHD, according to a national survey of parents using data from 2022.

Add Dopamine Holistically Designed is a program that teaches parents of children, young adults, university students, and adults how to transmute the challenges of ADHD into incredible strengths.

 

Add Dopamine Holistically Designed program was developed using research conducted in neuroscience and the ability of the brain to rewire or change itself. It has evolved over the last 25 years of personal practice in yoga and mind training, working with local and national universities as a Learning consultant and strategist, while getting a Masters in Education and transforming my symptoms of ADD into a super power! When we understand what it takes to make changes, we can take our power back, rewire, and change the brain.

Alexandra uses mindfulness practices to build self-awareness, strengthening the mind-body connection, sound healing using panning and frequency technology to balance the brain, mindset and cognitive behavioural therapies, and strategies to increase focus, concentration, motivation, and organization. Mindfulness tools assist you to feel more calm and live your life with greater clarity.

Alexandra applies a systems approach when working with children, providing tools and  practices for the whole family to create harmony and peace in the home.

ARDR: Sound Healing

ARDR was developed by Lanny Williamson, a long-time sound engineer working in music studios throughout North America. He developed a deep interest in the potential of sound to heal the body- mind when he had an experience while in the Egyptian pyramids. He recognized that sound is energy medicine, and can be used to heal the body and mind.

He went on to create ARDR, an advanced technology using principles of EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), an extensively researched method proven to help people recover from trauma and other distressing life experiences. Instead of the hand eye movement and tapping used in EMDR, ARDR uses the panning of sound between the left and right ear, to stimulate the left and right hemispheres of the brain. Solfeggio healing frequencies are the foundation of the sound healing, known for their power to evoke spontaneous healing events, along with evocative and pleasing compositions to provide an enjoyable experience. 

The result of ARDR treatment is a balanced harmony between the brain’s left and right hemispheres, along with the growth of new neural networks (neuroplasticity). This leads to improvements in areas such as:
